Live Recordings

Papo Vazquez - "Marooned / Aislado" was a live performance captured by NewSound at the Painted Bride Art Center in Philadelphia on March of 2007. Little did we know that it would be nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album.
Papo put together a kickin' 31 piece band for this one. That was a lot of mics, stands and cables, all fed into our 48 track, 24-bit digital recorder. The album was later mixed and mastered by renown Latin engineer/producer Jon Fausty.
